[ COMFORT ]
It arises from proportion, the ergonomics of form and considered attention to every gesture. Comfort implies an architecture shaped for everyday life, in harmony with the ways we live.
[ CRAFTMANSHIP ]
The trace of the hand and the intelligence behind the gesture. An art
of making rooted in inherited knowledge and contemporary precision.
Each creation reveals a singular vision, a measured line, the living memory of a craft. Artisans embody this French savoir-faire and carry it forward. The interior architect responds with the same commitment, shaping with hand, eye and material to bring singularity into form.
[ DETAIL ]
Detail is never incidental: it articulates the project, sustains its balance and eases daily life. It is a way of inhabiting the project through its interstices, an ethic of precision.
[ ENCOUNTER ]
To listen, to translate, to let things resonate. A project is always born of an encounter. First with the client, their expectations, their silences. Then with the place, its memory. And with the artisans, whose gestures carry the intention forward. The encounter becomes a dialogue, fluid, evolving and sometimes unexpected.
[ ESSENCE ]
“What is real is not the external form, but the essence of things”
Constantin Brâncuși
What is revealed when restraint becomes a necessity rather than a posture. A controlled elegance, without excess; a refined style, never empty, always intentional. Restraint renounces nothing: it affirms a sense of rightness,
an aesthetic defined by essentials.
[ INTIMACY ]
“Any work of architecture which does not express serenity is a mistake”
Luis Barragán
Intimacy arises from a warm, alive and deeply personal space. It is shaped through considered volumes, fluid circulation and a dialogue between inside and out. Carefully chosen materials and adaptable furnishings respond
to both functional and emotional needs. A poetic refuge, it invites contemplation, rest and the freedom to make the space one’s own.
[ LIGHT ]
“The sun never knew how great it was until it hit the side of a building”
Louis Kahn
Light does more than illuminate: it composes, structures and transforms.
It sculpts volumes, animates materials and resonates with architecture and furnishings. To think light is to think of space, movement, use and
the poetry born of their encounter.
[ MODERNISM ]
Clarity of line, precision of volume, simplicity that reveals essentials. Modernism is not merely a style, but a way of thinking about space
as a whole, where architecture, furniture and décor form a single language. A vision that continues to inspire my practice.
[ OUVERTURE ]
To open is to invite the world in: the first step into a space, the freedom
to look, an openness to experience. It means welcoming diversity of ideas, cultures and uses, and allowing oneself to be surprised. Creating spaces that engage in dialogue with those who inhabit them and with their surroundings. Ouverture is revealed through light, perspectives and sightlines, awakening perception. It takes shape in adaptable spaces, attentive to each gesture.
[ PROPORTIONS ]
I first grasped their full importance at Christian Liaigre’s design studio. From mastery of proportion come balance, harmony and the strength
of functional design. Precision and instinct walk hand in hand: sometimes everything hinges on a single measurement, the line of a drawing, the curve of a form. It is a subtle, exacting discipline that guides the hand.
To compose a space, design a piece of furniture or adjust a volume,
each gesture seeks clarity.
[ QUALITY ]
A quiet yet constant standard. Revealed in the selection of materials,
the precision of gesture and the care devoted to every finish.
Quality built to last.
[ STORY ]
An architectural narrative: writing space. Like a writer or filmmaker,
the interior architect composes with rhythm, contrast, light and silence. Repetitions, accents, serendipity shape a language, a memory and
the expression of identity.
